This place was seriously busy with people waiting and such. We were fortunate as my friend had made reservations. Our service was spectacular! Colin was the best of the best dealing with an extremely busy restaurant, while still giving us the attention we needed. I had fish and chips and was very happy with my selection. At first I was unsure as it was one piece and you generally get two... But I quickly realized this was a piece of fish equivalent to two. It was significant and very tasty! I am unsure what my wife had but she liked it. My friend's wife had the fried chicken with potato salad. The amount of chicken was very impressive! She enjoyed it but needed a take out box. My friend had the pasta with shrimp and loved it. To be fair I rated the atmosphere a three. It was not because anything was wrong. You will be quite happy enjoying a meal here. It was simply because like other establishments, it is a generic set up. Not bad in the slightest bit nothing that stands out. I recommend going here for a meal. You may need a reservation though. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

An overall great restaurant to hang out, grab a drink and have a meal with friends and family. The drink menu is extensive and they have plenty of food options too. The steak frites was a bit chewy and not the greatest, but the rest of the food was good, especially the spinach artichoke dip. The staff are very friendly and they have lots of televisions.

I got the asian salmon bowl except I asked for the salmon well done instead of medium. The soy sauce is great and it came with wasabi and pickled ginger, overall a great combination for the dish. This place is just a little pricey. Also it was super packed on a friday night

I absolutely love the Chicken & Waffles from their weekend brunch menu — crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor. My husband is a huge fan of their juicy, cheesy burgers. Friendly service and a great atmosphere make Beertown Guelph one of our go-to spots for brunch or lunch!

Enjoyable food and service. A great variety of food to drinks (alcoholic to non). Ample amount of seating inside as well. Would recommend the cherry beer and also fish tacos. The side salad was also very well done (without it being overly dressed).

Absolutely amazing spot for any occasion, with a relaxed vibe and extensive menu. We went on a Sunday around 4pm and it was moderately busy, but even without a reservation (which we will make next time) they were able to get us a table for 2 on the patio in about 15 minutes. Our server, Ashley, was top notch! It’s not often you get such friendly, personal, and laid-back yet still prompt service. 5 stars! We shared the Bacon avocado flatbread, Spinach and artichoke dip, and a small Beertown salad. All the dishes were phenomenal and full of flavour, but the Spinach dip definitely stood out and is probably the best I’ve ever had. Being a cook myself, I haven’t been able to recreate the richness, texture, and amazing flavour it had. Paired with their perfectly salted soft-baked pretzels, it’s a to-die-for combination. Overall a 10/10 experience and this will definitely be the go-to spot next time I’m passing through Guelph! Cheers

Great atmosphere! Staff were friendly and the food was very good! Lots of great appetizers to share (if you want to). We loved the salt and pepper calamari and fresh guacamole and chips. Also lots of great burgers to choose from. We have only been this location in Guelph. You definitely get the university vibe! We will be back next time we are in Guelph.
